Q: Why do I have to pay a down payment?
A: There are a couple of reasons. First, it demonstrates your serious commitment to the project. Clients who want "comp" work (a.k.a. "I'll pay for it if I decide I like it later") often have not committed to the project and are likely to take the creative and run.
Second, the down payment helps offset our labor and material costs incurred during the project. It does not cover all of our costs, but helps ensure smooth cash flow.
We want you to retain the upper hand in this relationship. That's why we don't invoice for the balance until AFTER we have delivered the final product, giving you the ability to make sure you are fully satisfied.
